These are heaven for those of us with chubby and sweaty thighs. I wear a size 8-10 in dresses, and yes, these are plus size, but the 1X fit me anyway. They do stretch though, so they will fit larger ladies. I used to be a size 22, so I can say that with some confidence. The material is so soft and they do not ride up. The waist band is bulky though, but otherwise no complaints. These are my favorite of all of the slip shorts I've tried comfort wise. If you want some shaping or smoothing though, try the ones from Jockey. These do not pull anything in or smooth anything out, but they are soooo comfortable! For those of you wondering, they are sheer, like cotton panties, so you cannot wear them alone unless you want to show the world everything you've got. They are also not gusseted, so I wear them over my regular panties, but that would be a nice touch, so you could wear these instead of panties. The seam goes right down the middle of your crotch which may irritate some people, but I find the fabric is so soft, it does not bother me.
