I used it on my son's tweed wool jacket and my husband's spyder ski pants. Both garments had tears in the fabric, not the seam, and it was difficult for me to "invisibly" repair them and I am a very GOOD seamstress. My son got caught on one of the vents on his sport coat while getting out of the car and tore a 3/4 inch horizontal tear in the fabric at the top of the vent. Bish did an almost invisible repair with fabric texture. The ski pants have become more rigid and the tailoring is visible, although not very much.
