Avia was once a premium athletic footwear brand. Today it has moved into the "cheap shoes” category. For the price this is a good shoe. However, pay attention to the size. I've always worn a size 12 so I ordered it. The true size of this shoe was between an 11 and 11-1/2. So I reordered a size 13. It fits better, maybe a little big, but with next year's summer heat it's probably ok. Otherwise, the shoe makes a well-made and light impression. Just be aware that they are on the small side when buying them.
