Poor Design for Cooking

Too bad this beautiful hob is not intended for cooking! The individual components seem to be made of high-quality materials and look very good. The problem comes when you try to cook! The 2 burners are essentially a half burner so your pot doesn't have full support underneath which makes it easy for it to tip and tip over. Then trying to turn it on does the trick - it's difficult to get the burners to ignite and keep them burning while you adjust the flame. Finally, the handles almost touch the iron bars, which can burn your fingers. I realized I didn't want to cook! I ended up returning this model and spending almost double the price on a Whirlpool WCG55US6HB, it was just over $700, but it's hard to find anything more affordable in a 36" cooktop.
