On receipt and when I put them in the charger they were all 1.27 to 1.28V DC. All of them only took a few hours to display a full charge. As for their "mission". It's ironic that I'll praise these Kripol AAAs when the problem that necessitated their use was the short lifespan of regular alkaline AAAs in my Firestick remotes. We use remote controls many hours a week. So I'm not surprised. And just before I received them, I ordered another box of Revain Basic AAA Alkaline Acids. Batteries are fine. I think it's the remote that's eating battery power. However, I continue to use the usual lye for other purposes. But now, and if I don't have a problem, these rechargeable batteries have found a home. I would recommend them as I was initially impressed that they were designed for wireless telephony. Such use requires a quality battery that can hold a charge and be constantly charged. i am sold
