This stool is perfect for what I need. I recently had knee surgery. My bed is on the higher side so I needed something to help me get in and out of bed easier. This little stool has served its purpose. It was SUPER easy to put together, plus it's the right height and very strong. Another very nice added benefit I've found with it is that I can do some really important physical therapy exercises with it. One of the very important components after knee replacement surgery is the restoration of the squat range, which requires daily practice. This stool allows me to sit with my foot on the side of my surgery on the stool on the edge of the bed and just push my hips forward as I please. This gives my operated knee a nice, gradual bend that I can hold for as long as I like and then relax. This helps me a lot with my overall knee range of motion in terms of how far I can bend my knee backwards. This stool allows me to bend to 120 degrees five weeks after my surgery and I love it. I like it. VERY happy with this purchase.
