Usable, but VERY VERY SPROD!

I used this as a base for my thermostat and it worked well. Please note that it is very fragile and will break like glass if you pierce it with a drill. I had to take my time, I used a dremel drill bit to cut out the 1x1 section for the thermostat wires and when I drilled through the cut piece it split so I knew I had to be careful with the wall panel. to the wall after carefully drilling holes for the thermostat bracket and all was well. Cheaper than in BIG BOX stores.
