Too tight to be kicked
I bought a pair for each of my boys, the same size they usually wear and the shoes don't have enough stretch to fit the foot on the show without pain. I changed the shoes to big and wide but the same problem happened. Return all 4 pairs and find another brand. My kids are both skinny and underweight, so they don't have big legs.
