I just bought a couple of these controllers for my RetroPie setup. D pad is great! This is exactly what I was looking for. Other D-Pad controllers are sensitive. Just trying to scroll up or down the list of games sometimes moves you left or right, which is annoying. The D-Pad to Analog toggle button is a great feature. The analogs are very responsive and all the buttons feel great. Here are the reasons I didn't give it five stars: The left and right trigger buttons are a bit small, they need to be made wider. I have big hands and still have to reach for them with my index fingers. That seems a bit cumbersome. The controller feels a bit "slippery" because the plastic is too smooth. And then there's the purpose of the buttons. They are not located where the usual buttons are. It wasn't hard to play the games because I just assigned them in reverse. But that makes it a problem with the menu, you can't relate them to that, or at least I haven't figured it out. But I'll just take care of it. That's it, if it wasn't for those little imperfections I'd say these controllers would be perfect.
