I had an issue with a seal on my beer dispenser freezer that would sometimes not seal properly and let in a lot of Florida moisture and froze on the floor. I thought this might be a solution to determine when the seal is tight. And YES it works! It reads humidity and temperature very quickly and with that I was even able to know which side and then which corner. The application is simple and convenient. Not perfect, but good enough for anything I would ever use it for. Relax.

I returned this. I had it in my garage in the freezer, it's brand new and has had 3 service already. Every time I find the temperature has dropped just when I go to the garage to get something. So I figured I would now be alerted to a drop in temperature. No! It only worked when I was in an open door. into the garage, otherwise it would not connect. I got this sensor from InkBird today. When I opened the package I found this cute little neat sensor. It has a hanging hole and a sensor hole. It's very light and compact. You need an application to use a product called Engbird. After installing the app, you need to enable Bluetooth on your device. Added this sensor to my curing chamber in addition to the TH1 I already have. The hanging hole allows me to hang the sensor next to my sausages and receive data at different points in the camera. It also has a magnet for added functionality. So now I keep my TH1 on the bottom of the camera and use the TH2 on top. I bought this sensor last week for the room where we dry herbs. We used to use a temperature/humidity sensor, we had to go into a dry room to look at the meter and it only showed us the high and low readings for the last 24 hours and the current temperature/humidity reading. This Inkbird was the same price and had a full data logger and Bluetooth. Now I just turn on my bluetooth anywhere in the house and see the current temp/humidity, but I can also see all my temps/humidity for the last month.

I highly recommend this device and can't find any downsides. I bought one of these shortly after it came out and have used it in a few different places to try it out. In a freezer (affects battery drain), in a beer fridge, outside where the temperature has fluctuated between -5 and 70 for the past 8 weeks.
