I'm lactose intolerant so I need to get protein from non-whey sources. I also exercise a lot, so I usually aim for 180-190 grams of protein per day and supplement my diet with three protein shakes. many negative reviews about "egg smell" and "bitter-salty taste". Obviously that's neither good nor desirable, but I'm here to say it was bullshit on both counts. No bad smell or taste. No added salt either. Maybe it's my recipe, or the fact that I don't "just add water or milk" - I run it through a blender or, in a pinch, substitute 6 ounces of whole liquid (water or milk) for 6 ounces of green juice - but it does is delicious! I just wish there were bigger options available. I think the price per pound (if less than $20) is fair. My Favorite Smoothie Recipe - Use a blender: 6-7 ounces Almond Milk 1-2 ounces KeeferTrader Joe's regular soy protein powder (cheap!) Egg Protein Powder1 - Medium banana (seriously. Don't miss this) 1 cup frozen fruit (I love mangoes) and cherry)#
