This was a direct replacement for the coolant reservoir on my 2011 Chevy Aveo5, however it is made in China and its quality does not compare to the Korean made OEM. Easy installation with no problems, but it was too difficult to run the engine / pressurize the system for that. Once installed, the lid tightened well as expected. After the engine was started/the system was pressurized, there was a hissing sound from the tank and coolant spilled out from under the cap. After the engine was cold (and the entire coolant tank was splattered all over my engine) I removed the cap to check for a problem and the cap was very loose, it came off too easily. When trying to screw the cap back on, the thread was torn off. I'm assuming the cap is the problem as you can feel the deformation of the cap's plastic in your hand as it is screwed onto the tank - this doesn't happen with an OEM tank/cap. The OEM part number for the tank is 95216944 and the OEM part number for the cap is 94539597. I recommend purchasing a Korean made OEM tank and OEM cap from your local Chevy parts dealer or online OEM parts companies such as GMPartsDirect or Chevrolet Online Parts.
