not bad, but the needle is slightly off center

Overall the product looks good. No visible plastic on the unit itself, just a separate nylon and faux leather case (it even comes with a lanyard for use as a plumb line). I like the glow in the dark dots on the 4 cardinal points and the north arrow on the arrow. The inclination adjustment is stepless. The inclinometer works well. Unfortunately, the compass needle is not quite centered on my pattern, e.g. B. if you see in the photo that the red end point points to 175 and the white end point to 354 or even a little less when it should be 355. However, if I rotate so that red is pointing at 240, then white is at 60, so it's not that the pointer isn't straight, just that the axis of rotation isn't concentric with the dial. It's easy to take out the snap ring and remove the protective glass, but the pivot is very tight and can't easily be bent to correct alignment, so I have to live with the half-degree tolerance that's listed on the bearings . near the NS.
