Just installed yesterday but immediately satisfied. I used a lightbulb from a large store to create light under the shelf. I wanted it to be adjustable with a 120v wall switch rather than a stupid little knob (like all the big store options). Also, I couldn't understand why everyone was forcing us to use power supplies. They had to find out, and they did. Sometimes brighter than light tube and whiter, not yellow. It darkens very nicely and has a rectangular rather than circular cross-sectional profile. This made it fairly easy to attach with strong double sided tape. In short, I plan to buy exactly that next time. Not sure what lengths are available but I hope there are more options, the ability to lengthen and shorten, adapters, everything comes with the kit. There are no more power supplies. No more additional dimmers with rotary controls. This worked with my Lutron digital wall dimmer with remote control.
