The material has a slight stretch, like a thin t-shirt, ideal as a face protection material. It's also a soft material, so you'll feel good when your face is on the carrycot. I usually end my massage sessions with my clients looking down which means I see many clients leave my practice with a huge oval wrinkle/wrinkle on their forehead and cheeks. I'm happy to say that with the transition to these seamless face shields, that's no longer the case. Although I wish there was a little more material in the center section to allow the cover to drape more over the inside of the face rest cushion, I am very happy with this purchase and have already recommended these covers to several colleagues. I have a standard face pad with an additional 2" memory foam top and 1/2" fleece cradle cover so my face pad is quite large and comfortable. These covers are still attached to them. The seam along the edge of the fabric is sewn well, after several washes it has not unraveled and has not frayed. I will definitely be ordering more very soon.
