My selection criteria were design security, flawless function, packaging and price. Very nice design with rounded edges to avoid injury from contact with the latch when the cabinet is open. The action is smooth and there is a switch to turn the lock off when not needed. This device will add value to the future sale of your home. - Can be installed with 3M adhesive pad or screws. Many brands don't have that choice. Each pack of 12 snaps comes with two magazines for about $20: great value. They are neatly packaged in a slim 4" x 4" x 9" box. I like that I don't need a sharp knife to cut through plastic containers. The container itself can cut me or the knife. Each set includes 2 assembly tools The instructions provided could have been clearer but there are links to videos showing the installation Overall this product is very well designed, well made, well packaged and at a good price.
