. 4 stars because of missing or insufficient documentation. Then I imagine the following

I wanted to give it 4 stars because of missing or bad documentation. Then I ask myself this: 1. Do I pay $1,000 for this? No, I cannot expect a perfect document while keeping costs down2. Nikon devices I've bought in the past have come with extensive documentation. However, it contained too much information that was so boring to read that I ended up not reading it at all. Aside from the documentation issue I encountered, I found this product to be of very decent quality and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Additional things I like: 1. easy to use2. The transceiver is very flexible and has many useful configurations. The wireless network setup worked flawlessly on my first shoot after figuring out all the cables, switches and settings.3. Lightning is powerful. Suggestion for improvement: - Vertical angle/adjustment could be narrower. When the reflector (12" x 12") was attached with Velcro, the vertically rotating portion of the flash moved too freely. Summary: Based on the price, the quality of the product and the pictures received, this product deserves 5 stars in my book.

Pros
  • Powerful high-bar flash #38 (ISO 100, 35mm), supports flash mode M/MULTI/S1/S2; Note: Does not support TTL and camera menu settings function
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
