Great value for money

I am very impressed with this flash set. I bought it to use as an off-camera flash. They came with all the necessary parts (except batteries and stand. It was easy to sync them with my camera. I highly recommend this flash set 😀

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

normal for a beginner, but not TTL

This set is very good for a beginner amateur photographer like me. With the remote I can turn on flashes all day with no problems. The flashes are fine, but I regret not having bought better ones with TTL capabilities. I have to shoot in full manual mode but I think it would help me learn more about lighting. There were a lot of cables in the kit that I haven't used yet. I suppose they should cause stronger breakouts, which I don't have. I haven't tried it as a remote camera shutter because my…

Perfect for on-the-go lighting

This set is perfect for creating more sophisticated on-the-go lighting situations without having to take a ton of gear with you. I like that you have the option to change settings in either 1/3 stop increments or in full stop increments, depending on which button you press. As far as I can tell, it puts out the same amount of light as my SB700, with almost the same recycling time, and at a fraction of the cost. The transmitter and receiver work exactly as they should, even over long distances…

Amazing off-camera starter kit.

This set is ideal for beginners or those on a budget. I added a receiver and a very cheap strobe so this kit can also grow if you need 3 or more lights. Not only was I able to activate the remote flash, I was also able to activate the remote camera for a second angle on the same shot. Talk about versatility. The only thing that could be improved is the sliding power button. They always turned on in my pocket so I had to have spare AAA batteries for the remotes as well as spare AA batteries for…

Great kit at a great price

I've been using these for about 8 months now and am very happy with them. I have used the remote trigger for the flash and the camera shutter release and both work great as advertised. After buying them I also bought some light stands and they work great with them too. The other photographers I've loaned them to also seem happy with it. At first I was concerned when I opened the package, thinking it was just a Nikon cable, but I found a Canon cable (to connect the remote to the remote). the…

Not a bad deal for intermediate/intermediate photographers

I got these when I was looking for a remote shutter release that could be used at wedding receptions and for capturing the sky and sunsets in portraiture. I'm still learning how to light properly, but these lights are a great thing. I use them on 2 tripods and then set them to slave mode indoors to be triggered by my camera's flash. I used remote shutter releases outdoors. At first I had an issue syncing the triggers to the remote sensor, but once that was fixed I had no more issues. I use high

I am 100% happier than I am with this Neewer Pulse Transmitter Set.

I am 100% happier with this Neewer heart rate transmitter set than the cheaper Neewer transmitter set. I definitely got what I paid for last time. The fact that they come with two pretty good flashes only adds to the awesomeness of this set. As soon as I put batteries in (2 AAA for transmitter and each receiver, 4 AA for each flash) and set up the channels, they started working right away! I would really like to order them the first time and save myself the hassle of taking apart a cheaper…

Canon 70D Users - Camera & Photo

Although I am currently limited to manual use of this kit, it deserves a full five stars from me. Simply put, the value for money is phenomenal! When the shipping box was opened, I found that the kit consisted of several components in separate boxes. As before, Revane did an excellent job preparing for shipment. Everything was neatly sorted and partially "repacked" before it was put into the main packaging. The kit is compatible with a wide range of cameras, but there is very little information

A good all-round starter kit with a few weaknesses.

Great remote lighting starter kit - transmitter and receiver have good range and will work with flashes other than the included NW-561. The remote control can be used off-camera when the receiver is connected to the camera with the included cable. Sufficiently powerful flashes with an appropriate cycle time. Cons: - The tripod mount at the base of the flash has a plastic thread. Don't expect bases to last long when mounted on stands. The instruction manual is really terrible. Broken English and

Pros
  • Note: Only 4 C1/C3 and N1/N3 Shutter Cables for Canon Nikon DSLR Cameras (Shutter Cables not included for other cameras), camera and battery not included.
Cons
  • Long lead time

I wanted to give it 4 stars because of missing or bad documentation. Then I ask myself this: 1. Do I pay $1,000 for this? No, I cannot expect a perfect document while keeping costs down2. Nikon devices I've bought in the past have come with extensive documentation. However, it contained too much information that was so boring to read that I ended up not reading it at all. Aside from the documentation issue I encountered, I found this product to be of very decent quality and would definitely…
