Great remote lighting starter kit - transmitter and receiver have good range and will work with flashes other than the included NW-561. The remote control can be used off-camera when the receiver is connected to the camera with the included cable. Sufficiently powerful flashes with an appropriate cycle time. Cons: - The tripod mount at the base of the flash has a plastic thread. Don't expect bases to last long when mounted on stands. The instruction manual is really terrible. Broken English and links to features that don't exist. - Despite the display of "Zoom" on the LCD (and reference to a non-existent "Zoom" button in the manual), these are fixed zoom flashes. The focal length cannot be changed from 35mm.
