I got these when I was looking for a remote shutter release that could be used at wedding receptions and for capturing the sky and sunsets in portraiture. I'm still learning how to light properly, but these lights are a great thing. I use them on 2 tripods and then set them to slave mode indoors to be triggered by my camera's flash. I used remote shutter releases outdoors. At first I had an issue syncing the triggers to the remote sensor, but once that was fixed I had no more issues. I use high capacity rechargeable batteries and there is no recharge time.
