GREAT SHELTER for beds and furniture

Bought this A-frame shelter with heating option (consisting of a 19" x 24" LectroSoft) to provide extra weatherproof heating. Shelter for native feral cats suffering from Chicago winter conditions. I also have three Bought (3) small 14" x 18" LectroSoft heated mats (highly recommend!), they REALLY like feral cats trying to escape to a shelter! Can't believe the heat! This A- Frame is easy to install/assemble, heating pad covers entire floor area, nylon webbing is at least "waterproof" if not waterproof A-frame side panels (inside the waterproof webbing) are made of corrugated plastic - transparent standby plastic with vinyl "flaps" attached to the doors with Velcro and removable. K&H states that the shelter is intended for use when protected from the elements, such as B. on a porch or in a shed, and is not suitable. for direct exposure to rain and snow. I'm using an A-frame outside and only partially covering it under the 2nd floor porch canopy, so I decided to make a protective weatherproof coating with 2" pink mounting foam, glued together with foam adhesive and sealed with acrylic adhesive. Latex stain/paint, A-frame can slide into the foam sleeve, it's a snug friction fit.(Actually, it's easy to cut out the required angles after marking the template with a carpenter's square; "climb or run" etc., rafter angle at 1 x 4 x 3 ft.) I added a "glowing" night light to the corner to help the cat see inside when wandering in the dark; I loved using the "Ring Stick" up cam" at the shelter to observe cat activities (see photo). Really find this A-frame "CATS MEOW" and recommend it unreservedly!
