This worked really well for us to clean the sink drain and tiny shower drain which most likely had a hairball in it. I had to fill the basin with water to create a vacuum with air bubbles. A few strong jerks and the traffic jam is finally over! It was nice to use a plunger instead of chemicals since the drain line was plastic, and I don't think chemical sewage cleaners are recommended at all, do you? This tiny size was perfect for never being mistaken for a toilet plunger (horror!) and neatly stored under our troubled sink.
