Had bought this primarily to get it quick and relatively cheap but quickly found the monomer to be one of those things you probably don't go for should use fast/cheap route. 1) The smell is just awful. Nothing spilled inside the bag, but as soon as the bag was opened you could see that the fumes had completely settled inside. Even when used in a very well ventilated area, the fumes from just a few drops are very strong and will take some time to dissipate. The product does NOT claim to be low smoke but it is so terrible that I don't think it should be considered for home use. If using this at home, look for monomers with lower smoke levels. 2) This material hardens very quickly but is very brittle. Once I've determined the correct powder to liquid ratio for that particular monomer, the acrylic still cures fairly quickly, so you need to know what you're doing and work quickly and accurately. but there's a catch: it's difficult to work with carefully, because when it dries it becomes very brittle. (Disclaimer: I've used this monomer with a higher quality acrylic powder, not Morovan brand powder, but I've had no problems using other monomers with this powder.) This caused my acrylic to crack, blister and crack in weird places shattered. Even when I used that to press on where you couldn't see the acrylic, the pressing on sort of bounced off. Frequently. Daily. . Gave this product two stars because it technically worked, but smoke and lack of shelf life should be taken into account. As many reviewers have pointed out, I did not receive the brush as advertised.
