That's 17" not 18". The cable is 5', not 6'. The motor housing is not completely closed to prevent the ingress of dust and dirt. I was very disappointed with that. This is the biggest lie in the description of this item. I saw in the manual that it has two oil ports. Guess what? There are no oil ports, so it has to be disassembled every year for cleaning and lubrication. I think in 12 months I will know if the engine is as described. The item turned out to be loose parts thrown in a box. It must have rattled the whole time during transport. I paid for and ordered a new fan, but the product I received was clearly used. In addition to blemishes, already opened plastic bags around the parts and a missing emblem, all blades were bent in different directions and had to be repaired. I received a partial refund and am just glad enough not to return this item. but I must recommend you to look for another fan from another company. This company is totally unreliable.
