Use it to connect a 12 inch MacBook to a monitor. I particularly liked the pass-through charging, which allows you to charge your laptop while it's connected to a monitor. The first few months and then the screen started flickering endlessly - blinking between the working display and black (no connection). This went on for hours so that the plug became unusable. Tried unplugging HDMI cable but that didn't help. Seems to be a loose connection and I don't want to reconfigure too much lest I damage the laptop's only connector.
