Review on Dungeons & Dragons ๐ŸŽฒ Essentials: The Ultimate Complete Starter Kit by Nale Dunn

Extras don't cost the extra $30 for me

Bought and received on time. I contacted the seller about the print materials and received them quickly. Bones are good, but they're the cheapest. Other premium online dice companies regularly sell sets of 5+ dice sets for $30. What annoyed me the most was the printed matter. Some things are nice, like numbers (would be really nice for a virtual table) and 1000 pre-generated NPCs/characters can be useful, but the DM screen regularly cuts off entries in the middle of a sentence and then there's the dice book. I'm not sure if this is satire, but it's quite informative, then it gets to the part about "throwing bones to get better results" and mentions heating your bones in the microwave. Good. I go. If you find this valuable stuff then go for it, otherwise just buy the Essentials Kit separately and save almost $30.

Pros
  • BAGS: Each set of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition dice comes with a drawstring flannel pouch to hold your dice, and you can tell the dice apart by the bright colors.
Cons
  • Socket required
