What I've always disliked about Qi on the iPhone is that its charging power is limited to a measly 7.5W. While I can't tell if this mount gets the full 15 watts or not, it's definitely pretty damn close. I don't even use my USB C to Lightning much in the car, and really only when I forget to plug in my 12 Pro Max before bed and need to charge it very quickly from almost nothing. I'll note that I'm using a 30W capable USB-c car charger as opposed to a USB-A QC-3 box just to be sure I'm getting a rock-solid charge. This unit seems solid on first impressions, but honestly it's just sitting in a bag with about 5 others that I might use as spares one day. Don't count on it surviving a rollover accident, god forbid that happens. Overall, this is by far the best car mount I've ever used for a phone. Apple really outdid themselves by reimagining wireless charging, and luckily I was able to find a compatible third-party option that wouldn't break the bank.
