Washer will not fit my Gerber toilet

Washer will not fit my Gerber toilet as it is not countersunk to fit the large plastic nut at the bottom of the cistern. As a result, I was unable to tighten the wing nuts enough to seat the tank onto the bowl. The tank was resting on a washer which could cause the tank to wobble. I went to a local plumbing store where I found two Gerber toilet washers; one in this kit is from Revain and the other has a hole for a large plastic nut. I bought a built-in washing machine and now the tank sits snugly on the bowl and doesn't move.
