Overall, I was pleased with the rubber, and it served me well as I skated through the winter in the snow, slush, and ice. Excellent grip on the road, particularly when it is rainy. It fits wonderfully into the corners, at least henna did when it was jammed into the pits on it. BUT now that it's getting warmer (+6) and it's PPC, the rumbling sounds like it's coming from a studded one, and the plane hasn't changed at all after 60 seconds. Although before this there were VRX breeches, I wasn't expecting this from Velcro. I know they have an issue with oatmeal because they don't ride on it. Even if the noise is primarily an issue when the temperature is warm, these tires offer excellent value for the money.
