My child had a very rare skin condition that could be caused by exposure to environmental toxins such as plastic, pesticides or food additives, so we've moved away from plastic, presumably BPA-free. Lunch box storage bins and zip bags for the lovely lunch bots. They're stylish and functional, but our main interest was to have a tool that would help eliminate our child's daily exposure to toxins, which stainless steel does. Plastic can get into food, but stainless steel cannot. They open and close easily and are dishwasher safe so we have no issues with this item. This is a quality lunch storage container that is durable and meets our high expectations for our specific needs across the board. We will be buying more soon!
