Excellent, easy to make, preschoolers love it

We love this lunch box. We use it for our 4 year old's preschool lunch and he loves using it. We combine it with silicone liners to form separate compartments when I pack different foods like veggies and hummus, cottage cheese, pickles, etc. The only downside is that it took us a while to figure out how to place the sandwiches as the sides are too small to fit a whole sandwich in one compartment. Check out the photos to see how we approached creativity.

Great alternative to plastic!

This product is expensive but excellent. The size allows for the perfect amount of food for my 2.5 year old's lunch. I use silicone cupcake liners to separate the ingredients and prevent the inside from rattling. The container is washable and the lid closes securely. I didn't put any liquid in it so I can't tell if it's airtight. That being said, I wouldn't pour liquid into it because it probably won't be airtight. Overall, I recommend this product and will buy it again!

Nice sturdy container for school lunches

Love it. I have other containers from this brand and use them everyday to send my kids lunches to school. I use this for sandwiches/fruit and it's perfect for that. The only thing is that the lid can fall off the container in the lunch box, so I always wrap it with a rubber band. It's also not good for juicy fruits like watermelon, as the juice will likely run to the other side and wet the sandwich. Even then I love these containers and have been using this brand for a number of years.

Rusted after 2nd use and hand wash only!

I used this maybe 2 times. After the second wash it started to rust around the screws or nail heads. I hand washed it with organic plant-based dishwashing detergent (seventh generation) and a non-scratch sponge. Also, the divider doesn't go all the way down. So if you have fruit on one side and vegetables on the other, the juice from the fruit gets all over the vegetables. In my opinion it's overpriced for what you get and I found the steel very light and cheap. It really shouldn't rust like…

Daily Toxin Cleansing Tool

My child had a very rare skin condition that could be caused by exposure to environmental toxins such as plastic, pesticides or food additives, so we've moved away from plastic, presumably BPA-free. Lunch box storage bins and zip bags for the lovely lunch bots. They're stylish and functional, but our main interest was to have a tool that would help eliminate our child's daily exposure to toxins, which stainless steel does. Plastic can get into food, but stainless steel cannot. They open and…

Firmly. perfect size Exactly what I was looking for.

To use less plastic bags I bought this type when I bring a sandwich to work (a few times a week). This worked exactly as I had hoped. It's very durable (more than necessary, but how could that be a bad thing?). I use large rectangular bread slices (Arnold, Pepperidge Farm). You have to be careful when cutting the sandwich as there isn't much room in each divider. That is, the two sides must be cut symmetrically. Again, that's rather a good thing as the container takes up less room in my lunch…

Excellent quality, reasonable price, environmental friendliness!

In the last 2 months we bought 2 Container LunchBots - Duo and Trio. Both are great. I'm a teacher and I see some of my students using them too. My almost 3 year old daughter was just starting school and it was important to me that she had something eco-friendly and plastic-free for lunch. As stated in the product description and as mentioned in other uses, it is dry (dry) food storage. There are small gaps in the corners between the dividers, so it's not suitable for something like soup or…

Great Container: Container Sets

This is the perfect size for my first grader's lunch. I think it's more versatile than a bin with a large section. If my kid wants a whole sandwich, I can put half a sandwich in each section. If she wants half the sandwich and something else like fries, the divider keeps everything tidy. This container is not airtight and therefore not suitable for wet items. With a little practice, my 6-year-old was able to open the lid on his own without the contents of the container flying around. We…

The designer obviously does not prepare school lunches for the child

So, to be honest, I read all the reviews on this product before buying it and I knew exactly what I was buying, understood the disadvantages and bought it anyway because it really was the only option that met my criteria. I bought these because my son's new funky preschool needs a single compartment lunch box instead of multiple individual compartments, which of course I already had in abundance. I was determined to buy something that wasn't plastic, and lunch bots really are the only option…
