I bought this to use as a solar light/heater in my office. In the Midwest we need sunshine or we'll get depressed. This light creates the feeling of a sunny day outside. Real sun rays should be 20 to 25 cm away from your face and dazzle your eyes. With this sucker you can have it close by and over time it will have a similar effect. It generates some noise and some heat, but then again, free heat in winter! To work you will need a 250w lamp and a large incandescent to standard incandescent adapter.
