I've just bought a new LG GX OLED and was wanting to replace all my HDMI cables with the newer HDMI 2.1 cables as I will have some sources that will take advantage of the new specification be able. . I have a couple of friends who have also been in the same boat for the past few months and both have different cables. And both of them don't care 100% about the cables they have. The complaints were that they were too thick, didn't like the connector, were too stiff and put a lot of strain on the connector. One said stay away from willows, the other said willows. So I took a risk and ordered two different brands, Maxonar and KabelDirekt. Firstly when I got them Maxonar had nice slim packaging, KabelDirekt didn't have much, the box was almost twice the size and the more I looked at KabelDirekt they just reminded me of old monster cables with a big plug. So Maxonar are great! They are braided, don't flex rigidly and the outer part of the connector is aluminum as far as I know. I like the gray and black color. And if you have an LG GX OLED, they're perfect for your cable channel on the back of your TV. And all my cables have been certified scanned. Hope this helps someone looking for cables! And if you need an optical cable and want it to match iVanky's braided cable, it's pretty similar in color.
