Not sure what room this is effective in, but I tried it in a very small room where my dog had an accident. I washed the carpets several times and removed the remaining stains. It still smells awful. I used packages in boxes near the ground where he went and after a few days have to wonder if he did anything at all. I can still smell it even after using a foam cleaner, vacuum and organic odor eliminator. These 2 remedies have helped some, but I'm not at all sure if bamboo charcoal helped. However, I have another use for it. This type of charcoal is specifically designed to work with certain types of metallic clay. I haven't used all 10 packs in this room so I may try clay. If it works well I would recommend it to other artists but I cannot recommend it for odor removal.
