I liked that the shoe came in a size 10 1/2. I'm a size 10 in most shoes but my toes need some concession and when 10's are tight I'm usually forced to use 11's as few manufacturers make 10 1/2's. (I usually order 11 from Asics.) I really like that this shoe has some cushioning in the arch area as few Asics address this issue. The shoe supports the foot and prevents foot slippage while maintaining excellent cushioning ability. Some shoes just "bounce" in the materials and it's painful and hard on the knees. It is important to lace these shoes properly to get the most benefit. I have to use extra top loops and tighten the laces towards the instep and heel; otherwise the heel will not fit well enough. With laces these shoes are fantastic and I have just ordered another pair.
