Lots of old Italian video cassettes - didn't want to spend money on a multi-system VCR and multi-system TV. With this product I can connect my old multi-system VCR to any US TV with RCA jacks. Works great - now the women are happy. Warning, you need RCA jacks on both devices - many new TVs no longer have RCA jacks. Tried one of the new type converters with RGB and HDMI - didn't work in any configuration on any TV.
