My dog doesn't seem very comfortable, he shuffles around and doesn't want to get in, but he's fine once he settles in. I put a small blanket around him as he is old and very small. It would be better with some kind of cushion/padding/quilting/soft lining. I don't use it often, he really prefers to be kept. Could a shorter strap be better? He likes to be closer, not next to my waist. And I have a long body! I love that there is a clasp to attach it to the harness, it seems like it will pop out once it gets tired of being there.
