Great drum for electronic learning toys

I have a V-Tech drum. He has a lot in common with that. Basically the same voices and sounds for many of the features, so it was clearly made by the same people. This one is better. Much better. It's soft and for some reason my kids can't stop banging this drum. It flashes colors and while not 100% responsive, it's enough to keep them entertained. I think the educational value is rather limited. The Spanish word for each color is spoken along with the color or counts in Spanish or English, but the tone is a bit muffled and your child is literally banging the drum instead of listening. Maybe that gives them a bit of education, but to be honest they just get into a rhythm and have fun (which I think is totally normal). It's very well done. It rolls, it's soft, the numbers stay in place so well you can definitely clip it to a car seat. He's not that loud. It doesn't bug me like a lot of audio toys. In fact, I wish it was a little louder, and the volume control is almost irrelevant. Although intended for ages 6 months and up, my 14 month old loves this drum and my 2.5 year old likes it too, although maybe not as much. This is a very well made interesting toy that costs a little more than some toy drums. but it's worth it.

Pros
  • Take drum with handy fabric handle for play on the go
Cons
