The hat itself is quite large which is good as there are different head sizes. My head is actually quite small so it sits loosely on me, but the built-in headphones still fit my ears perfectly. Since the hat isn't snug, I don't get a headache, which is great. However, people around you can hear your music even if it is not very loud. The best part is that you can still speak and hear people around you so you don't have to take your hat off. Very nice in cold weather, I can walk in the cold and listen to music while keeping my head warm! The volume control takes a little getting used to, so adjusting the volume via your phone would be easier/quicker, but the next or previous song works as fast as you press the buttons. Beanie connected to bluetooth as soon as my phone searched for bluetooth devices and selected it. The sound is actually pretty good considering it's cheap, by my standards it's really good. I would buy this again. Headphones and in-ear headphones always hurt the ears because they are uncomfortable. This is the comfort I was looking for and it was perfect.
