I will always buy these. I have thick wavy hair and have tried buying large bobby pins from Walmart but they are not as strong and big as these. I'm always revising other clips. They don't hold or slide through my hair when there's added weight. I even tried Pony-O and it just didn't keep my hair in one place. The first thing that struck me about these hair clips is that all of my hair fits in. Even with a ponytail! In the past, a ponytail added extra volume that didn't fit in the clip. The second immediate relief I noticed was how securely the barrette held all of my hair. Wasn't free. Wasn't difficult. The weight was evenly distributed across the back of my head so I didn't feel any weight in one spot. (If you have long, thick hair, you know how annoying it is to have all that weight in one spot, especially if it's a bit off. You need to spread it out evenly.) Hour shift...it dawned on me...I never touched it my hair. I didn't have to re-twist and re-tap my hair. After cleaning up, he stayed. If I can edit this review later I will post photos. Buy if you are tired of cheap bobby pins.
