The gel peels off immediately and there is a chemical odor
I like cotton socks to keep my toes separate while I sleep. However, they have a very strong chemical floral scent that won't wash off. It can be felt as soon as you enter a room; it drives my husband crazy. This gel is like the soft glue used in junk mail or to attach your new credit card to the letter it came in. It's so soft you can roll it off the sock with your thumb and you're left with a clean sock. It should be a different type of gel, or at least stick more firmly to the cotton.
