The rotation speed is very controllable with a very high top speed (say 12000 rpm). things I don't like; The hose connector will continue to leak air even if Teflon tape is used when tightening. In addition, the deployment handle does not always spring back and then has to be pulled back. Happened for the first time tonight, don't know if it will continue tomorrow. Finally, I tried a 6 gallon porter cable and a 10 gallon Fortress compressor. Both require frequent pressurization, I think in 1 minute intervals with continuous use. That suits me because I can grind a lot during this time. Invest in a quiet compressor like the Fortress and protect your ears.
