EDIT: Well it's been almost a year since I've used this fightstick and it still works, I still stand by my original review. **Here's a quick PS4 tip for those who don't already know****Your PS4 controller only needs to be connected to the joystick during initial setup. Alternatively, you can just plug in your joystick and use your PS4 controller wirelessly to select "Legacy Controller Authentication" under Options > Other Settings > Shortcut Settings. Just remember to switch your joystick to "PS3/DINPUT" instead of "XINPUT".** -- PS -- I can't test if this works for XB1 as I don't have one. Value below Affordable price and easy modifications - that's what sets the F300 apart! As others have said, the F300's stock joystick and buttons are fine and responsive, but how durable they are I don't know, having modified mine almost immediately. The change process is very simple and surprisingly very simple. for newbies. For those new to modding, Google and YouTube are your best friends. This is my first time using this as a modder and found that the process is pretty much the same for all fighting sticks so don't be afraid to go. and switch to the parts you want. A trusted place to buy parts online is FocusAttack where I got all my parts in one nice sale. Here is a list of the parts I replaced the stock parts with: Sanwa joystick (comes with octagonal gate) and buttons (30mm) 4lb mainspring Oversized actuator (1mm) Round gate 5-pin PCBB socket Zero Latency Bullet USB Encoder Wiring Harness - Above . The only thing that bothers me about the F300 is that my hands are bigger than usual and my joystick hand sometimes rests on the edge of the top and slips occasionally during certain activities. It's a personal issue that I get used to fairly easily, so it doesn't matter. Also the 1st input switcher on the top left, which is for the platform you are using, has an issue with PS4. According to the user guide provided, "Controller Icon" is the recommended option if you are using a 360, XBOX1 or PS4. However, this option does not work on my PS4. What works is using the 'PS3/DINPUT' option and setting the F300 as the legacy controller in SFV's 'Other Settings'. These minor issues are too minor to take a star away from this trusty baton. My overall impression of the F300 is based on a month of field experience backed by thousands of hours of using quality parts in cabinets.
