Works fine for more than a month but please change the joystick!

Using this arcade tablet I have found it very useful when playing retro games on my Raspberry Pi Retropi device (yes it is compatible but like all controllers it needs to be configured during setup) PROS -buttons feel good and hasn't let me down after more than a month of use - compatible with PCs, consoles and Raspberry PiCONS - (large) joystick has a SQUARE pad on the bottom (not sure of the correct terminology) , when I play games that often have hexagonal joystick pads on the bottom that…

I love this flash drive for legacy systems

First, let me start with what I think is the only real downside. The stick I feel is about half an inch smaller than the buttons and my hands are on the smaller side. If you're one of those people who doesn't put their hands on the board, this shouldn't be a problem. I like the Mayflash F300 stock, especially for the price. For PS3 and PC, it directly plugs in and plays as long as you press the switch on top, while for XBOX ONE, you need the original controller and the included cable. It's fine

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Short instructions

A good stick for a frugal fight, but I prefer my big brother instead.

I've had both the F300 and F500, I sold the F300 because of its relatively flat little palm rest in the button area and it just felt uncomfortable due to the sloping front. Others may not notice or pay attention, but it always seemed to me that something was wrong. Now I have two F500. large flat surface for both hands. People with small hands may find it very handy. In terms of joystick and button quality the F500 also feels better, I've played with both side by side and the F500 felt more…

Definitely an update for standard controllers

Bought because of the upcoming Soul Calibur (a bit early but I wanted to acclimatize before I get destroyed). I've played console action games from Mortal Kombat 2 to Tekken 2 to Soul Calibur Dreamcast. Never had a flash drive prior to Dragonball FighterZ and never had problems with console controllers. I don't know what's wrong with an Xbox One controller, but it's not working for me. I absolutely hate this. It just doesn't work for me with fighters. I couldn't handle it, but I couldn't help…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to say

First of all, I bought this Fight Stick to play Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition on my Nintendo Switch. I was able to use this on my PC as well, but the primary reason for this review is to use the Switch console. I'm by no means a professional gamer or gamer, but I want to be able to play Street Fighter as close to an arcade experience as possible, and this joystick delivers that experience. I love that this racquet is heavy enough for the construction to feel solid, yet light enough…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • High price

I bought it because I wasn't sure if I would like this type of control or if it would help me enjoy fighting games after years of avoiding them: I was wrong on both counts and regret buying this instead of one with arcade quality parts. As it is, the controls just didn't feel precise enough after I started enjoying fighting games more. It's cheap though, so modding with a Sanwa joystick and buttons was a viable choice for me. I really don't recommend buying this just to mod if you don't…

Great Beginner Stick

UPDATE: To those who have asked for my template, I'm sorry I never got back to you. Check the comments under my review for a link to my Google Drive to download the template! I have attached PNG and PSD files. I love fighting games, but I'm only good at Super Smash Bros. melee. I wanted to switch to other fighting games, so I was looking for a relatively cheap stick to buy. I've never used fighting sticks, so I'm not sure what high-end fighting sticks look like with Sanwa or Seimitsu parts…

Absolute advantage in the current market

Bought this as my first stick to upgrade later with quality parts. I currently only use stock parts and they seem to work pretty well. The joystick itself feels pretty good and has nice audible feedback, although admittedly the clicks are loud, but I suspect this is the standard based on what I've seen on other joysticks. The buttons seem pretty decent, but to me they seem a bit cheaper than a joystick. My buttons sometimes creak when I press them as they scratch the plastic inside. I was…

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • Easy to repair

Newbie Fightstick Value

EDIT: Well it's been almost a year since I've used this fightstick and it still works, I still stand by my original review. **Here's a quick PS4 tip for those who don't already know****Your PS4 controller only needs to be connected to the joystick during initial setup. Alternatively, you can just plug in your joystick and use your PS4 controller wirelessly to select "Legacy Controller Authentication" under Options > Other Settings > Shortcut Settings. Just remember to switch your joystick

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Almost never
