I'm a sort-of plus size dancer at size 14/16 (175lb 4'11"). I was worried this leotard wouldn't fit based on the size chard, but it ended up being perfect- I love it! The fabric is thin,stretchy, and breathable- perfect for dancing. It has great coverage, both at the top and bottom. It's not shapewear by any means and it is somewhat thin, but I'm primarily wearing it underneath costumes and for changing so it works great. Everything stays exactly where I need it to! I didn't want anything too constricting to dance in and this does the trick! BONUS: the straps are wide enough that they stay put and actually help my bra straps to also stay in place! Honestly I'll probably continue wearing this leotard long after I stop dancing.Great purchase and less expensive than some others I tried! Capezio squished me down a little too much for my taste, but was definitely sturdier/more like shapewear.
