If you're crimping solid Deutsch contacts, you need this type of tool. I chose the Iwiss IWD-20 for the price and was quite surprised by the quality. Knowing the correct wire gauge is important when crimping solid tube connectors. More expensive crimping tools cost about two hundred dollars, for a small job it was prohibitively expensive for me. This tool comes with a preset crimping force of number three, which may or may not work as it depends on wire gauge. The product description didn't state that size 20 pins are also available for crimping 18-16 gauge wire, so the default setting (3) may crimp too tight. I tested the crimp on a sample wire I used to make sure it was a good crimp. So if you're new to this style of crimping you can use a couple of pins to test it out (hence the four stars). Overall I am happy with this tool and it more than paid for itself the first time I used it. The crimp dies were crimped evenly on all four sides and the pins (8) on the connectors were the same.
