I bought XXL. I have pants in size 14/16. It was a little loose, but that didn't bother me. I also wore a corset so my thighs could breathe. It fits well without pressing on my stomach. It sat right under my flabby stomach. The rear end hit just behind my calves. I'm 5'5. I've definitely seen this skirt on skinnier, fitter girls and damn it looked amazing. I've also received a lot of compliments and when I get compliments I know I look good. (I don't usually get compliments unless I look like a saloon girl)
