Get the original MX Master 3

GOOD: First of all I'm a big fan of Logitech and already have 2 MX Master 3's (in the office and at home) - I like them so much. This is the Logitech MX Master 3 you know. Absolutely monstrous mouse with better ergonomics, magic magnetic scroll wheel (switches automatically depending on how fast you scroll), right thumbwheel and programmable buttons. BAD: Really disappointed here at Logitech. There is absolutely no difference in mouse functionality (which is good), but 2 things really stand out here. At first they just changed the name to "For Mac" and changed the color to Space Gray (I personally prefer the matte black look of the original). Again, there's absolutely no change in functionality - nothing special or new for the Mac that wasn't in the original that I'm using with the Mac now (Flow is still the same, the Mac gesture keys are exactly the same). But for exactly the same price ($99), they didn't include a USB receiver, which offers much lower latency than Bluetooth (it's a dedicated mouse-only channel, not a shared Bluetooth channel), and I definitely can recognize the difference. Sometimes there is a slight lag with the scroll wheel or when I try to move the mouse. The reason they probably did this was to save money and also because they refuse to make a USB-C version of their dongle and most new Macs are USB-C only. But if you use a docking station or other type, or have a USB-C converter, the responsiveness alone is worth the key. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and get the original for the same price as the dongle, and if you don't need it, at least you still have it (it still supports Bluetooth). I'd appreciate it if they lowered the price by about $10, but why Logitech?
