My daughter says they are very easy to dig in the snow.

My 8 year old daughter suffered from cold hands and frozen fingers during recess. Her cotton gloves were wet. We bought these gloves and after taking them to school with nearly 12 inches of snow on the ground for the first time, she called them "amazing". Specifically, she said they are very "grabable," which in her language means she can easily dig tunnels in the snow with them without getting her fingers wet, cold, or sore. MOTHER VICTORY!
