Review on Effortlessly Stylish Transportation: Swagtron Swagger 2 Plus Foldable Electric Scooter For Adults & Teens by George Sullivan

broken after 4 days of light use

I used this scooter to ride myself 1 mile to and from school. The path goes over a viaduct bridge. This scooter wasn't powerful enough to get me up the climb on it's own so I had to scoot my way up till the path leveled. It didn't go the speeds it claimed it would. I was ok with this until the 5th day on my way to school I was riding it and just before I ascended the bridge it completely died on me. It was charged half way, which was enough to get me to school whereby I could plug it in when I got there. After it died the wheels froze making it virtually impossible to push let alone use like a regular non-electric scooter. So I had to fold it up, run it back home so I could drop it off and run to school. Highly inconvenient! When I got home later that day I plugged the scooter in to charge it and my boyfriend and I smelled a burnt fumey sort of smell which I can only guess was the dead battery.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The price point may be prohibitive for some consumers, especially when compared to other similarly-priced eco-friendly transportation options
